Hi, Laura. I'm trying not to step on any toes by noting a point here instead of the Celtic Myth forum at the conference. ;) After studying archaeology ad nauseum in grad school, I can safely say that you may do whatever you like with mythology given you cover your arse. ;) Remember, most of what we think we know about Celtic myth is retold by the Gaels' Christian descendants or inferred from Christian documents. So, don't sweat it. Heck, I disemboweled Celtic mythology and I have Scots tell me they love it. Be more worried about historical fact. And I got published! I've got one novel in print with my Time Guardian series now. Just look for what you need to make your story work and get to writing. Skhye
